I have to admit.

I have fallen in love...yet again.

 I am feverish, obsessive and I adore being captured by the beautiful Shirin Neshat. 

Her work makes me restless, let's me smile and ponder. With a gentle yet confronting touch she makes me lose my mind, my heart to her vision. 

 I have fallen madly in love with her beautiful cries for help for the whole of humanity.

Day 3: 

If I'm not happy with my illustration I can't put it on Tumblr/Blog/Facebook or anything..I have tried, but I end up not being able to sleep, waking up at three in the morning to delete the illustration that I put up. 

Sketching away until I found it. IT!?

But what is it ? What I am looking for?

When you have to produce many a sketch a day it's much easier to grab your bag of tricks and draw. But when I put my hand in the bag, a trickster bites my finger, I can't do it..it bores me. I want need to try something new all the time, I like to surprise the viewers I share my illustrations with, but most of all I need to surprise myself. That's it, surprise!...Let's go Day 4!

Day 2 of covering Paris Fashionweek A/W 2013 has just finished...Oh My, I have to admit it's even more of a challenge than I thought, I stroke my beloved black skull and whisper...in-sp-ir-a-t-io-n.  
Producing sketches on the spot means you have little time to think about a theme or how you feel, actually there is no time to think period. It helps if you are calm and collective. Which I am not. I am chaotic and turbulent ..so yeah this is the perfect challenge for me. It has all the learning ingredients I have wished for. I tap my skull, sip my tea and whoosah!

I enjoyed the show and sketching it even more, it took me awhile to sink in the feeling of the fashion show and what I would like to emote through the drawings, but once I was there, I was in my zone, grinning and sketching away.

Tonight I'll start illustrating Paris Fashion week A/W 2013 for SHOWSTUDIO.  A nine day project where I'll cover 2 to 3 shows a day. I am so excited I can barely contain myself, I love a good challenge!

Every year when winter bites me with her teeth or lashes with her tail and everything turns white.. I feel myself getting more serious

I get a little more quiet, like a grumpy bear I hibernate my serious thoughts, trying to see what lies ahead. Finally giving up my restless thoughts for a winter retreat, a moment of rest ...I laugh and I savor my bad mood.
